Congratulations to the NSIA Team, students and trainers, all of whom did so very well in the recent National Culinary Fare competition.
The team came away with a whopping 26-medal haul ... seven golds, 11 silvers and eight bronzes. As well as a host of Merit awards.
In the prestigious Nestle Toque d'Or, and as the only PTE invited to compete this year, the team scored one gold and two bronze. The 'Toque,' as it is known amongst competitors, was held as part of the three-day Fare celebrations and this was the first time NSIA had been invited to participate.
The Culinary Fare is the culmination of months of preparation and weeks of intensive training.
Those not involved in the competition will certainly miss watching the team practice (and tasting the results!) and are extremely proud of their fellow students.
